a series of 18 multilayer serigraph prints, produced in an edition of 5, dealing with the ambiguity of appropriated text and the disparity in potential between text as pure shape versus a communicative tool. hand printed on white cotton rag rives BFK paper, 43cm x 28cm each. as a result of this work i was also asked to design a tattoo using similar aesthetics for close friend and international classical musician elliot simpson.
